Curious how Flashcards decides how many cards you actually get

Arranging study notes on sticky notes.

Asked for a 30-card deck and got exactly 30 — was half expecting it to come up short since it's AI-generated, but figured I'd ask here since I was curious how it works. Does anyone know if it always hits the number you ask for, or does that vary by topic?

Only asking because a friend mentioned a different AI tool she used once gave her fewer flashcards than she asked for and just silently cut it short. Mine came back full, cards all felt genuinely distinct too (no obvious repeats or filler questions padding out the count), so seems like it's handled properly on Sanviora's end either way.

Mostly just curious if this is consistent across different topics/deck sizes or if I got lucky. Anyone generated a really large deck (50+ cards) and noticed anything different?
