One-page resume as a fresher: what did you cut to make it fit?

Printed documents and glasses on a desk.

Everyone says a fresher résumé should be one page. Mine is currently a page and a third and I'm struggling to decide what goes.

What I have right now:

  • Career objective (3 lines)
  • Education with 10th/12th percentages
  • 3 academic projects
  • 1 internship (6 weeks)
  • Skills (a long list)
  • Certifications (6 online courses)
  • Extra-curriculars and hobbies

My current plan is to drop the objective, cut the certifications to the two most relevant, and turn the skills list into two lines grouped by type. Not sure about hobbies. Do interviewers actually ask about them?

For those who got shortlisted recently: what did you cut, and did anyone ever ask about something you'd removed?
