Tried 'Build your own test' for weak Physics chapters — sharing how I set it up

A student choosing a book in the library.

The new Build Your Own Test option went live in the Entrance Exam section a couple of days ago, and I tried it for JEE Main Physics. Posting my setup in case it helps anyone.

How I picked topics

I went through my last two full mock reviews and listed every chapter where I'd lost marks. Rotational Motion, Current Electricity and Electrostatics were the worst, so I picked those three, plus Kinematics as a "should be fine" check.

Settings

Just Physics, around 20 questions, adaptive mode on. Adaptive asks after each question whether you want the next one easier, the same or harder. I found it useful to step down after a question I couldn't follow even after reading the solution, instead of hitting three hard ones in a row and getting demoralised.

Result

Kinematics was fine, as expected. Rotational Motion was still bad. At least now I know it's that chapter specifically and not "Physics is weak". I turned the wrong answers into a flashcard deck for this week.

Is anyone else using it? Curious whether people are mixing subjects in one test or keeping them separate.
