Sanviora started as MockMate AI — built by a solo, non-technical founder using AI development tools to do the work of an engineering team. The problem was straightforward: campus placement interviews are high-stakes for Indian college students and freshers, but real practice is hard to come by. Coaching is expensive, generic chatbots don't give structured, role-specific feedback, and tools like Google's Interview Warmup stop short of an actual mock interview.
Sanviora was built to close that gap — voice-based AI mock interviews with real per-question feedback, a spoken English course for candidates who need to build confidence communicating in English, and a certificate that proves the work. As the product grew beyond its original MockMate AI branding, it became Sanviora.
The idea came out of direct observation. In her past work in educational counselling, Pradnya kept seeing the same pattern in fresh graduates — Mumbai gave them more access to resources and opportunities than almost anywhere else in India, yet interview practice was the one thing they never got, and it cost them when it mattered most.
